My name is Grace Anner and I coach gymnastics rec classes, cheerleading team, and tumbling classes. I've done gymnastics in my youth and began cheerleading when I was 12; since then I have been recognized as the MVP, and one of the top twelve cheerleaders on Long Island. I graduated from Freeport High School and am now studying business at Baruch College. I have been with Beyond Epic Athletics for over two years and I can honestly say that I look forward to coming to work. My coworkers and I are a true family, and we adore passing on our learnings and love for these sports on to your children!
Director of Programs & Gym Manager
I am a co-owner of Beyond Epic Athletics, program Director of All Steer cheer & a USAG certified gymnastics coach. . I was once a Freeport High School cheerleader and was invited to become an All Star Cheerleader at New York Cheer, which was one of the best All Star cheer programs on Long Island. After earning a number of awards, trophies, banners, and a scholarship as an All Star cheerleader, I knew it was time to share my knowledge and love of the sport. I began coaching clinics, town teams, tumbling classes, stunting classes, flexibility classes, strengthening and conditioning classes. Over the past few years to the present I have been coaching my levels 1-3 All Star cheer athletes and continue to have great success! We cry together, we laugh together, we work to win together and that's what Beyond Epic CHEER is all about! I love my job coaching children and giving them a pathway to start their journey of life lessons, teamwork, building character and training them to become strong mentally and physically! Ultimately, to believe in themselves and that nothing is impossible!

Coach Gigi Galante

Gigi, a long island native and mother of 2 boys, has been in the fitness and gymnastics industry for over 30 years in varying capacities starting as a young gymnast and working her way into coaching and director. She has extensive experience with all levels from preschool all the way into competitive team gymnastics (high and low level) in addition she has coached cheer and tumbling. Gigi spent 10 years as the Recreational Director at another large area gym.
What has kept Gigi in this for so long? The love of the kids, being able to teach and see them learn and grow as gymnasts and individuals, knowing that she is contributing in some small way to their overall well being, health and self confidence.
In Gigi’s words:
“Beyond Epic Athletics has become my second family and joining this team is one of my best decisions. The owners and staff take pride in what they do and truly care about the kids and helping them learn, achieve their goals and push even further.
I think gymnastics is a great sport because it teaches kids that if you believe in yourself and work hard you can accomplish anything all while having fun and staying healthy.”
